The following come into force at 00:01 hours on 5 July 2011 and will be available on the Scottish Government Website at: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/bluetongue
1) Declaration revoking the bluetongue (BTV8) restricted zone, protection zone and lower risk zone in Scotland.
2) Revocation of the general licence to vaccinate animals against bluetongue virus serotype 8 in Scotland.
Although GB is declaring disease freedom it is vital that livestock keepers continue to source responsibly and check the health and vaccination status of their animals.
