NBA welcomes new staff appointment
The National Beef Association is delighted to announce the expansion of its team with the addition of Joanne Pugh as Assistant Director.
Joanne Pugh joins the Association from the Farmers Guardian, where she held the position of Livestock Editor and oversaw the technical content for its weekly newspaper.
NBA Chairman Oisin Murnion said "Joanne will be a welcome addition to our team, particularly for her journalist skills and knowledge of the industry and we look forward to her arrival".
“The National Beef Association is a young organisation that is rapidly escalating with a growing membership from John O Groats to Lands End as well as all regions of Northern Ireland and far flung islands like Orkney and the Shetlands in Scotland and Joanne will be travelling to all these areas”.
“She brings her youth and new ideas into an organisation that is on the rise and will help its existing team to meet the ever increasing demands of its membership and its expanding workload”.
She is a farmer’s daughter from Shropshire and an active member of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs and is well known to industry.
Joanne will take up her full time position, at the NBA from August 15 and will be eventually responsible for its specialist publications as well as contributing to its regional and national activities on a day to day basis.
